Customer Relationship Management, an E-business solution
One of our client wanted E-business solution for customer relationship management system to automate sales and sales force management functions. It had features like tracking the productivity of the sales force to giving marketing research data like industry dynamics, new products from competitors.

Orchestration was used for dynamic business processing
SQL adapter was used to exchange data between BizTalk server and SQL server. SQL server was used to transfer data between two systems whereas BizTalk server was used to connect messages like Flat File between these two machines.
File adapter for transferring data in and out of BizTalk server
FTP adapter to move data from FTP server to BizTalk server where the data was only available via flat files being uploaded on the ftp server.
Business Rules composer was used to develop rules using composer by using XML as inputs to the rules engine and also calling rules from a BizTalk Orchestration.
XSLT for processing XML data.
